In September of 2010, a group of 7 from Greer, South Carolina will be travelling to Gaborone, Botswana. We will be going to work and serve the community of Old Naledi, one of the poorest slums in the region. We will be working to complete a feeding station on the grounds of Naledi Baptist Fellowship.
We go in order to follow Jesus’ commands in John 13:34-35: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
My family is leading a Campus Crusade for Christ team of 17 college students to Gaborone to work with the Feeding Station in Old Neladi. We leave July 2nd. Found your website. Would you like for us to carry anything to your friends there?
